I am a man on a mission of healthy self-talk and loving expression. Over the years, I have been influenced by an array of amazing teachers, friends, books, and timeless moments of epiphany that have brought about a broader scope of awareness into my life.
I found my way to the world of yoga asanas in the year 2000 to help heal my back from excessive physical labour and weight lifting. I was immediately fascinated by the synthesis of movement and breath as crucial players in creating a more peaceful and balanced mind/body state of being. Wanting to further my practice, I went to India and sought out an Ashtanga yoga teacher training in India in the winter of 2012. It was here that I fell in love with the practice of pranayama.
In the next four years, I investigated many different types of breathwork styles until I finally found my beloved teacher and coach Engel. I have completed five 500-hour pranayama teacher trainings (I now assist on them) and genuinely enjoy sharing and teaching from my personal experience and daily practice.
